HERE ARE SOME HELPFUL TIPS FOR THOSE WHO WILL BE VISITING FRANCE FOR THE EXTRAORDINARY WOMEN’S CONFERENCE THIS SPRING:
Spring time in France is unpredictable. Some days are hot while some days are rainy or some days are hot, then cold, then hot. So to be on the safe side just come with clothes that are not too light. You don’t have to pack on the thick layers for winter, but neither should you ever be caught without a sweater, scarf, warm jacket or relatively warm(ish) clothes.
It usually gets quite chilly on spring evenings and nights so come packed with very warm nightwear, leggings, bathrobes and fluffy house slippers.
And if it gets hot, all you have to do is take a layer off.
But it’s better to be prepared than sorry.
Be mindful also about the fact that in France parking lots are never close to your destination and the streets are usually cobbled, long, and with numerous steps.
So take very comfortable and strong walking shoes with you.
*Warning – you will do a lot of walking.
